The Parent-Child Whisperer®

Meet Veenu.
Connection
comes first.

I help parents and children find their way back to each other, so home can feel like a place to belong.

Where I’ve shared my message

Hi, I’m
Veenu.

I’m a mom of six, a family coach, an author, and an international speaker. More than anything, I care about how we make each other feel at home.

Before I helped families find their way back to each other, I had to find my own sense of belonging. That journey shaped the way I parent, the way I coach, and the message I share with audiences around the world.

I believe our children need to feel seen, heard, and valued. I also know how hard it can be to offer that connection when you’re overwhelmed. I bring my experience as a mother and my work with families into every conversation, helping parents understand what is happening beneath the behavior and find a way forward together.

“Give your kids a childhood they won’t have to heal from.”

My mission

Before I was a coach,
I was finding my own way.

Growing up, I knew what it felt like not to belong. I experienced bullying and depression. Being of Indian descent, I looked different from the people around me, and I began to question my own worth.

At 15, I tried to take my own life. Thankfully, someone stopped me. I later struggled with self-harm as I tried to numb the pain of being bullied. I share this because my commitment to helping children feel seen comes from a deeply personal place.
At 34, I attended my first Tony Robbins seminar. It became a turning point in my life. As I found my way forward, I knew children were my calling. I wanted to help them recognize their worth and help parents build homes where that worth could grow.
That calling still guides me. Alongside my parenting work, I care deeply about bullying prevention, supporting women who have experienced abuse, and preventing self-harm and suicide.

I learned to see
the whole family.

For nearly three decades, I’ve walked alongside families as they rebuild connection and find more calm at home. I’ve worked with parents who feel overwhelmed and children who need someone to understand what they are trying to say.
My own family keeps this work personal. I have six children, four of my own and two stepchildren. I’ve been a stay-at-home mom, a working mom, a single mom, a stepmom, and a mom of multiples. Each season has taught me something about love, resilience, and raising children who feel secure.
Over time, my experience as a mother and my work as a coach brought me to the same understanding: I need to support the whole family. When I listen to both parents and children, I can help them understand each other and begin to move forward together.
That is the heart of my Parent-Child Whisperer® Method. I help families build connection before correction, without blame or shame.

I carry this message
onto the stage.

What I learn in the family room comes with me when I step onto a stage. As an international speaker, I share my story and practical tools with schools, parent groups, and conference audiences around the world. I want these conversations to reach the people who need them, wherever they are.

I’ve shared my message through platforms including iHeart Radio and headlined the Rise Above Tour to empower teen women. Whether I’m speaking to parents or young people, I bring the same belief: connection can change how we see ourselves and each other.

I wanted this work
to reach further.

The conversations I have with families don’t end when a coaching session is over. I wanted parents to have something they could return to, in their own time, as they put new ideas into practice. Writing became another way for me to share this work.

I wrote Teach Your Children They Are Enough: 3 Proven Steps to Help Raise Your Child’s Self-Esteem to help parents nurture their children’s sense of worth. I also co-authored Bullyproof: Unleash the Hero Inside Your Kid and Numb, a collection of stories from women who overcame self-harm.

Through each book, I share my commitment to resilience, self-worth, and stronger connections. I want children to know they matter, and I want parents to feel supported as they help their children grow.

I also train and mentor coaches through my Parent-Child Whisperer® Coaching Certification. When I help another coach bring this work into their community, I can reach families beyond the ones I work with personally. My vision is for more children to grow up feeling safe, loved, and connected.

“This isn’t theory for me,
it’s lived experience.”

Beyond
the work.

I’m also a wife and a mom who values time with my family. I enjoy traveling, seeing new places, and sharing time with Brian. Those parts of my life belong in my story just as much as my work does.

Coming soon — February 2027

My next chapter:
Parenting from Greatness.

In my newest book, I bring this work back to where it begins: with us as parents. I believe we need to recognize our own greatness before we can guide our children toward theirs. I wrote Parenting from Greatness to help parents model the connection, emotional safety, and confidence they want their children to experience.

I kept learning,
so I could keep helping.

As my work grew, I kept building on my lived experience with education and training. I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology from Campbell University with honors, trained with the Robbins-Madanes Institute, and became a graduate and trainer of Tony Robbins’ Mastery University and Leadership Academy.

I serve as Head Training Coach for Joseph McClendon III, and I guide and mentor teens through Tony Robbins’ Global Youth Leadership Program. Working with young people from around the world keeps me connected to the challenges they face.
I am a Certified Master Life Coach, a North Carolina Infant-Toddler Family Specialist, a licensed Dr. Amen Brain Trainer, and a licensed Neuroencoding Specialist in coaching and presentation. I also specialize in supporting children on the autism spectrum and have extensive training in ABA therapy.
My training includes certifications in Neuro Linguistic Programming, Hypnotherapy, FreedomPoint, and Time Line therapy. I am also a Certified Behavior Consultant specializing in the DISC™ personality assessment, and a best-selling co-author of Numb and Bullyproof.
I bring that learning into my work with families alongside the understanding I’ve gained as a mother.

I’d love to hear
your story.

I know how much it matters to feel heard. If you’re looking for support for your family, I’d love to understand what life at home feels like for you and what you hope can change. We can start with a conversation.
